About Crimea winter hiking tour - January 2007

Gathering have borrowed only 2 days, and it at that that on a nose was New year and other cares too sufficed. Initially planned route: the Small Beacon - Paragilmen - Babugan - Yalta Yayl - Ai Petri. Again August, again the Simferopol station, again a backpack with attached pad and tent … But this time a backpack essentially is easier, in a lap - dragging away stockings, and with itself, except for the usual marching complete set, are taken telescopic mountain a stick. You will a little correct and will turn out the excellent(different) composition about a hike. I think authors will not be against :) And in general, it seems to me that to write such composition simply and most. Certainly if you really were in a hike. Same such heap of impressions and events. To tell about a hike - continuous pleasure. The main thing - forget about the teacher. Present is better, that you tell to the best friend, enticing it(him) to go with you to a following hike.

There seems to be a proliferation of advice on how to shave ounces off your pack weight. While everyone would like a lighter load, most of us also want to have along the things we need for a safe and enjoyable time in the backcountry. Let�s face it, in summer you can spend a night in the woods with almost nothing at all, but you�d be pretty miserable.

So what luxuries can you bring along? Just how much difference will a few ounces, or even a few pounds, actually make? Well, it could mean the difference between winning or losing a race. But you're not in a race. You've left the rat race behind. You're getting back to basics. Simplifying. Enjoying your natural surroundings intimately. You're on vacation. You're backpacking!
